ScrollWiki is preparing for its first App Store release. These answers describe the current iPhone and iPad app.

How do I shape my feed?

Choose topics during setup or visit Settings → Edit interests. Like and save articles you enjoy. Use the article menu to choose Less like this. Your reading activity also helps shape later recommendations.

Can I read offline?

Save an article while connected and open it once to finish downloading its reading content. Cached saved text can then be read offline. External pages, uncached images and fresh recommendations still need a connection.

Why is something missing from an article?

The native reader focuses on prose, headings, links and the lead image. Tables, formulas and some media may only appear in the complete article. Use the Wikipedia action at the end of the reader to see the source.

Does my library sync?

This release stores your library on this device. It does not sync saves or personalization between devices through iCloud.

How do I delete my data?

• Settings → Clear reading history removes history and interaction records.
• Settings → Reset personalization also clears learned interests, likes and hidden articles. Chosen topics and saves remain.
• Remove saved articles from Saved.
• Clear downloaded article cache separately in Settings.
• Deleting the app removes its local data. Manage device backups through your Apple settings.

Content and corrections

Articles are written by Wikipedia contributors. Follow the source link for its history, notices and correction options. ScrollWiki is independent and is not endorsed by Wikimedia. Encyclopedia content can include mature or distressing subjects; filtering is not a guarantee that every article is suitable for every reader.

Something isn't loading?

Check your connection, try the Retry action, and reopen the app. Keep saved articles downloaded before travelling. Avoid deleting the app to troubleshoot unless you are comfortable losing its local library.
